Daddy is Home!!

Well, Daddy came home really late on Friday night. They got the boys on that plane last minute so they didn't have to pay them tax free for the month of August. Cheaters.

We haven't done much of anything since he's been home. Life revolves around food, basically. But we like it that way. The only places we've gone so far are the PX and the commissary. Kinda sad. We did, however, purchase our first art yesterday. Two oil paintings and two watercolors. Got the guy to give us all 4 for $210, down from his sale prices of $270, so not too bad! Funny we've been married 10 years almost and have no paintings. Time was due! It's crazy how much more money we spend when Daddy is home. I've been wanting something unnecessary for the last 9 months but couldn't push myself to get it because it costs $28. Craziness.

My gallery is no longer hanging at the local cafe here. We went Friday and had dinner there and pulled it. I love the cafe owner. She's so great. Sad to not see my own art on the walls anymore. I'll have to find a new place to hang them!

Daddy's needing some prayers. He has an ultrasound today for a painful lump he found. Hopefully they'll be able to read the results instead of having to send them to HI where it will take a month to get the results. So please pray for wisdom for the techs at the hospital and for the pain to subside.

Not much else to tell ya! We're in Heaven with Daddy home, just enjoying being a family! Mel missed her Daddy so much. Monkey did, too. But Mel is turning into a little Daddy's girl. It's just too cute.
