today was a mess. daddy's work had an easter party and egg hunt. of course, i did the photos. this morning when i got up, it was looking hopeful, but as soon as we got to the park, it started raining. and didn't stop. so the kids got soaked in the egg hunt. but they enjoyed it nonetheless. the rain pushed my photos under a pavilion, which was fine, i just made them closeups instead of the whole bunny and background. turned out just fine. never surprised at how rude people are. free pictures done by a professional and all i heard all day was "can i get two?" i think i got a handful of thankyou's... but probably more complaints. i was glad when it was over. i closed up photos and finally got to eat at the end. then before i could even finish my plate, they were taking away my table and chair!!
on the way home, i was able to see another one of God's everyday miracles... in action. I pulled up to a light and just so happened to change in to the left lane in time for the guy right behind me to come barrelling through the stop light with locked breaks. if i hadn't gotten over, he would have plowed right into my loaner car (which is a little tiny sedan) and would have done some serious damage. and both kids and all my equipment were in the back. thank God for his awesome timing.
