not much to say these days. every day seems to be about the same. sundays we have sunday school and church and dinner at p's. monday we run errands and have dinner out and i have practice for praise team at church. tuesdays i go to the gym, piddle around, usually go to the library, make dinner, and go to karate. wednesdays i have bible study, then run more errands, do the occassional lunch, and go to p's for dinner. thursdays sometimes i have bunco, then i come home to clean, make dinner and go to karate. fridays i usually go to the gym, piddle around, go to the grocery store, etc. and we have dinner and a movie night at p's house. saturdays we do something fun and come home for dinner. then the week starts all over again. tuesdays and thursdays i get mixed up sometimes. the days are all filled with tons of never-dull moments, yet not much to write about. mel says some really goofy stuff sometimes, she's so funny. such a great sense of humor that girl has... yet i can never remember anything she says to tell you all when i'm typing. monkey got a hair cut the other day, so he's back to the mohawk. he's been picking up some bad habits from other kids at church... so he's been scolded a lot and i'm sure when Daddy gets home, he'll need some... shall we say... readjusting. he's perfected the stupid look and the mean look. i'm so fed up with mel's whining that i've resorted to other means of punishment besides yelling. and i'm hoping that its working.

every day, i complain (even sometimes to myself) about something... my kids, my hubby being gone, my life in general, my acquaintences... then today i saw a handicapped man in the grocery store parking lot. i passed him on my way to get into my car. i put the kids in their seats and looked up to see if he needed any help, and he'd already gotten over to his car, up out of his wheelchair, folded it, and picked it up into the tiny trunk of his car. and i cried, thanking God for my legs, and my children's legs, and our health... and i'm going to try to be a more positive person.... even though i'm at home alone with the kids, and the days are monotonous, and work is slow, and it rains almost every day, and at least once a week i ruin dinner... i'm going to look for the more positive things to think about. and be thankful for the every day miracles that God has blessed me with.

You're right, there is so much to be thankful for. It's so good to be reminded of that.
