Carp Festival

Today in Japan is Children's Day (formerly boy's day) so the Japanese hang carp streamers out.. i'll look up more details later when i have more time to post. Today was officially named Inconvenience Day by me. Can't go to the closer base cause I'm banned from driving there for a month (more on that to come later, too), so i had to drive to the far away commissary and px. the normal road leading to the px was closed, but there's no sign there at the start of the road, so i'd already turned by the time i saw it... then the bathrooms inside the ox were closed... then the ox is rearranging the store, so you can't find anything...there was a crazy long line... and well... everything... i had to wait for... or do something extra to get... it was just one of those days... but... here's a cute pic of the kiddos at the crap festival... i mean carp festival...
