We're home!

wow- what a couple weeks these last have been!
we're in our new house. it's peach. with dark peach trim. very peachy. nice little place. new and cozy. more like a home than the rat-motel we were living in last time. =) we're in a real neighborhood for the first time. neighbors are nice. the house is semi-set up. livable, for sure. just crap still all over. but- we're getting there.
mel weighs about 16 lbs already. she started on solids about 3 weeks ago. doesn't really like much other than cheerios, though i manage to trick her into gagging down a few bites each day. anyway- she's gaining weight like a champ. she's lost most of her hair again. my little baldy.
monkey is cute as ever. talking up a freaking storm. learned "damnit" from daddy when he spilled juice in the floor. so i taught him to shake his finger and say "that's not very nice". pooing in the bathroom, but still in a diaper... hey, its a step. sleeping much better now. not waking up 5 times a night. i actually only got out of bed twice last night. aaghhhhhh. =)
