Bread and the Beast

Bread... And the Beast...
So the Beast is running... sort of. For those of you who don't know the story of the Beast... here's the short (and long) of it... While living in VA Beach, Daddy needed (wanted) a new car, so he found the Beast. We brought the Beast home and it was alive for about 6 months, Daddy fixed a few things on it, but it just wasn't well enough to run. Then it sat at Daddy's work until we towed it down to the house after it was built. Then it sat at the house. Then we towed it over to the neighbor's yard when we moved to GA, then we got Uncle Phranq to tow it down to GA, where Daddy worked on it, but to no avail. Then we got Uncle Phranq to tow it back north to our house now. Where it was sitting in the garage until about a month ago when we sold the house. Now, by golly, the Beast has had a face-lift from the inside out... with the exception of the outside, that is. It's a whole new life for the Beast. She's still in need of some things... but 10k later... here she sits...... (in the pic, Daddy is working on her new wooden dash to hold his anniversary gift of new gauges. No, that is not the Beast in the back ground. That's my new car. If only the Beast looked like that! I'll post a pic of the Beast soon. Just imagine... an 88 Bronco that looks like an 88 Bronco that's 20 years old.)

On another note, my very good friend Faith has inspired me to bake bread. I tried the other day, but (of course) it didn't turn out b/c baking is a science (which I was never really good at b/c I don't like to follow directions). But today, I tried again, and kept the "science" part in my head... lo and behold... the greatest bread ever made!!! Here's Monkey enjoying the best PB&J on the best bread ever made.
